The tiny fluffy rectangular mics that almost everyone is is holding in one hand in their online reels and video content. We could hear them perfectly well before; whatever they relied on then.

Why would you choose to tie up one hand? In my mean spiritedness I suspect it makes them feel like roving reporters or foreign correspondents for TV. I’m irrationally irked by the sight of them.

I know there are bigger problems in the world, hence describing it as irrational and petty.

Any fellow grumpy bastards out there willing to share their own current bête noire?

The overuse of "literally"

I wouldn't say it was "designed", the building* was built in the 60s before domestic microwaves were a thing and there was probably an old-fashioned "tea lady" with a trolley and a tea urn. The staff "kitchen" is probably a former cupboard deemed too small for stationery.

Not just that building. "cupboard kitchens" seem to be a feature of modern office life.

I'm with Sky so I can't delete what I've watched. When you go to watch something only to realise you watched it last week but there's no indication that it's been watched

People who have no concept of personal space!
