If you work in Starbucks - dogs?

I love that Starbucks are so dog friendly, but is there not a rule that says staff should wash their hands after touching dogs? I feel like it should be common sense to do this before returning to a food/drink prep area but clearly not. Isn’t it part of the basic training? I find it so off putting that people are touching dogs and handing my coffee cup.

Your dog smells, especially when it’s been raining or it’s been rolling around outdoors in shit. I go into a coffee shop I want to smell fresh coffee and food, not stinky dog.

My dog wears a coat (and she refuses to go out in the rain anyway). She doesn't roll in shit either.

If you want to have your coffee with no dogs about then go to a place that does not allow dogs. Or stay home.

I’m not a fan tbh but dd loves it - she also has a snake 😂 and she has asked before now why she can’t take them into cafes if dogs are allowed. And she has a good point.

Aww me and my ex had a panther chameleon, bearded dragon and leopard gecko! Love the weird pets

I didn't realise that dog-free cafes even exist these days. I know one that doesn't allow them inside, but it has an outside terrace. That's it.
