@wanderingtopographer agree so much ❤️ one of my favourite scenes

Raylan was a bit mean to poor Dewey though and do you remember the head blown off on the sofa scene - awful but well done

Yeah it's a great scene, Rylan could be such a bastard at times although I guess Dewey kind of deserved it 😂 For such an unpleasant (and let's face it, deeply stupid) character, it's a testament to the actor that he was also oddly endearing. I felt quite sorry for him in the end.

The Americans - on Disney. I can't believe so few people I've spoken to have watched it. As far as I'm concerned, it's in the same class of quality as Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Sopranos, Succession, etc (my other favourites) yet few have heard of it. It's about 2 Russian sleeper spies masquerading as Americans in the 80s.

You are not alone! It was a clever and utterly absorbing series. Loved it.

The gilded age. Just brilliant historical nonsense. I’ve been binging it this week whilst super sick

I was especially impressed with Joe Armstrong in that, I’d say one of the best British crime dramas ever made

Endeavour

Schitts Creek, it's just so brilliant and heart warming and funny.

AliasGrape · 01/01/2026 00:31

Game of Thrones - it’s a bit cliche but I was so drawn in and loved it so much, the last time I was really genuinely excited to watch something every week. My friend has rewatched it but honestly not sure I could - I’ve made peace with the ending but it wouldn’t be the same watching it knowing where it was all heading!

Also agree with those saying Schitts Creek, although I think that’s what that will definitely stand up to a rewatch and plan to do that soon.

@OneWildandWonderfulLife Loved G & F i loved Jane Fondas wardrobe too, especially remember her pink shirtwaister dress and that amazing grey cardigan she wore towards the end on the beach, it was stunning. It’s been years since I watched that so I think it’s due a rewatch thanks for the reminder

You are welcome for the reminder. Jane Fonda looked so amazing throughout. That pink dress was incredible. Also when she had that moment in the kitchen with one of Frankie’s ‘art students’, I would have been happy to look like that at 35 let alone 80!

I'm loving it! On series 2 already. I've become a bit obsessed with the show so much so that I now know that the lead characters are now a married couple in real life, he's from Wales, her from California...
Funny how some brilliant shows go under the radar and you can easily miss them.
