What colour do you always gravitate towards?

Mine is teal but all the warm autumnal fashion colours atm are really appealing too.

Teal always calls me though. Or turquoise or variants of. Just gorgeous, warm, fun and luxurious. Just like me 😆

Cherry red suits me, but all other red shades look bad on me; it's funny really, it's very precise.

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/12/2025 20:20

Black for clothes.

Jewel tones for everything else.

HereForTheFreeLunch · 30/12/2025 20:22

Teal - and variations of it. Or burgundy.
DH is orange.

It only took us 20 years of living together to figure it out!!!

WorriedMillie · 30/12/2025 20:25

Teal or seafoam colours. Anything that reminds me of the sea ❤️
Much of my wardrobe is black/grey/blue though!

DarkEyedSailor · 30/12/2025 19:52

Hot pink, emerald, burnt orange.

This is an amazing combo.

Green

but also like black, grey and neutral tones

worstnotholiday · 30/12/2025 20:54

I’m almost adverse to teal- though when gifted it I do like it. Though I’d never ever choose it. Pink (not hot!), green (the true greens neither yellow nor blue in partiality), brown (dark chocolate and tan), red and navy (not all together of course!) are the colours that seem to draw me in this way and that.

LostittoBostik · 30/12/2025 20:55

Blue and grey - I’m determined to break free this year

Sequinsoneverythingplease · 30/12/2025 20:57

Sage green or powder blue.

okright · 30/12/2025 20:59

Blue

WhereAreWeNow · 30/12/2025 21:10

Blues and greens

Jugendstiel · 30/12/2025 21:11

Usually blues, especially in summer. But recently I've loved dark greens, ruby reds and a sort of rabbit-fur beige - all forest colours.

JennyForeigner · 30/12/2025 21:11

Red. I am olive skinned and clothes, art, wine... all the reds

arcticpandas · 30/12/2025 21:14

Black, blue, Green and pink. Nothing flashy. I'm blond and blueyed and I look pale in bold colours. My mixed race friend looks lovely in red, yellow, orange. Her skin is naturally golden and she never looks tired and washed out as I do during the winter months. So envious...

DelilahBucket · 30/12/2025 21:15

Blues and greens, but teal or emerald always grab my attention.

What do you mean by jewel tones?

OP posts:
Makemeanonymous · 30/12/2025 23:26

When it comes to my home I need to have yellow walls. Various shades of yellow but it's the only colour I can live happily with.

When it comes to clothes I dislike anything pink and I don't feel comfortable wearing red. I like black and various shades of blue.

smallsilvercloud · 30/12/2025 23:28

Black, white, charcoal grey mostly occasionally red or light pink

Hedgesfullofbirds · 30/12/2025 23:29

Purple, indigo and blue in any shade, but primarily French blue, cornflower and royal blue - in clothing, but also in plant species choice in my garden - heavily accented towards blues

TomatoSandwiches · 30/12/2025 23:32

I love greens, purples and gold.

ILoveYouJefferyS · 30/12/2025 23:34

Turquoise ( Teal) and purple.. just choose some new glasses today
. Long distance every day is teal.. readers are purple.. also my winter coat is purple and my spring trench/ raincoat is teal.
My living room has elements of teal with other jewel colors on a pale background.

keepingupappearancesdear · 30/12/2025 23:35

Green for me.

Particularly a Khaki shade in the last 10 years or so

Love a bit of Lime too.

Great thread btw 👏
