I posted the link above on New Year’s Day 😉

I posted it on the 18th December.

That’s true. Mine was more of a valuation appraisal (from the property you shared). It is implausible that it’s worth £5M.

Kiwiwino · 13/01/2026 16:16

Yes 12 Coverdale Road NW2 4bU

Estimated annual energy costs are £3922, comprising £3562 for heating, £240 for hot water, and £120 for lighting

I don't like it very much. I don't see how it's worth £5m. This would be an immediate sell for me.
I'm still pining for that one that was in Borough Market.

Edited

I felt the Borough Market one was a personal slight when i didnt win 😂.
Makes it worse that I pass through Brough tube station daily on my way to work.

That one will be hard to forget

Even I thought I might live in the BM one for a while, and I have no desire to live in London😀.

My favourites have been a very early Lake District one and the Bath one. I fantasised about both of those for ages, and almost believed I would win them. I think there was a York one that was lovely too.

I would love a bolthole in London - even if its in the Kilburn area ( although not this house) - To not have to run for that too early last train out of town ( I am born a Londoner though, and know its changed- but I still love my home town)

So many of us are still slightly heartbroken to have missed out on the BM one.

I ... don't actually like it.

It isn't awful, obviously, but I'm not that won over by anything. I hate the way the otherwise big bedroom area is cut in half by that semi-wall; it feels like a warehouse being used for storage or something.

I just think the layout of the whole home would feel not great once you got a real family (with all their stuff) in it. It is too open-plan to have some areas calmer, yet still not vast spaces once opened up.

ETA I have now seen the extra sitting area which helps. But it somehow isn't cohesive. The back of the house has a very different feel from the front and not in a good way...

The Borough Market one is back on the market.

5 bedroom semi-detached house for sale in Park Street, London, SE1

Much prefer that. It has charm.

I fell in love with the Cotswold one (Guide Dogs); it wasn’t too far from me, and seemed the perfect place to set up home. Like someone else said above, I almost felt it was mine. It’s quite dangerous to think like that; took me a couple of days to shake off my disappointment.
