It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Carolyn returns the watches to the display cabinet as the criminals are led away.

Yay, the Puddingheads. I feel they bring a touch of reality to an all-too-perfect world! 😀

Well that took a sudden turn I was just thinking how peaceful it all was.

I hadn't been introduced to the wonders of playmobil before stumbling upon this thread last year - I bought my son a playmobil advent calendar because of it in the January sales and saved it until now - he's 3 and it's been a hit even though we're only 2 days in! This thread is so much fun 😄

Thank you all for the lovely comments! I've been out at a great lunchtime concert in the main church in town, which has its Christmas tree festival on at the moment. Everything looked lovely!

I shouldn't think there will be decorations in Playmo prison, no. Not something I'd ever thought about before!

@SoMuchToBits it's a Christmas Market one. In the absence of other figures to play with (day 1 was a lady on ice skates, day 2 a table) he has placed a small soft toy dog (the puppy from Dear Zoo) in front of the market stall that sells toys - the dog is browsing for gifts whilst the ice skater skates 😂

Here was me hoping for a surly shop assistant who is irked at being on minimum wage and wanting a champagne lifestyle. Brilliant foiled robbery instead. Spectacular as always. My Playmobil police officers had a car and a motorbike with flashing lights. Ds2 is now 19, I do miss those days.
