...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

A lovely traditional panto with no smutty celebs! We have tickets booked for Boxing Day at our local panto. Great fun.

I've always felt sorry for Buttons. I hope when Cinderella hits the marital jackpot, she rewards him properly for his loyalty.

Maybe the Puddingheads will try to shoplift a turkey.

And then fight over it.

Or eat it raw and be terribly sick.

Or attempt to sell it to a Playmo police officer.

Going to see Santa's Grotto?

Well the person who came closest with today's activity was @petalpower ! Although I have to mention that she might just have had a tip-off about this!

Today people are queueing outside the butcher's to collect their Christmas orders.

Molly is going to collect her turkey. "You stay out here with Spot." she says to Melissa. "Dogs aren't allowed in the butcher's shop."

The shop is busy with people collecting their orders.

Irving weighs out Brigitte's ham while Ranald serves Ludwig with chipolatas.

Ranald weighs Ludwig's chicken and Irving cuts off some salami for Ute.

Melissa comes out with her Christmas meat order. "Good dog Spot!" she says.
