...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

I've been to my art class this morning and as it was the last one of term, we all took some food in for a little party afterwards. The sausage rolls went down very well!

I've just been reading the thread about how Christmas markets are ripping people off, and thinking maybe they should head to Playmoland for a good Christmas market experience. I'm sure the Playmo people don't charge stupid prices for their hot chocolate and mulled wine!

You made me laugh about the portaloo and MN members hating workmen using their toilets . Brilliant thank you @SoMuchToBits

Playmoland Christmas Market is a million times better than our local one, which was hugely disappointing.

So sorry. I have this thread on my radar but pesky real life keeps bumping this down the list, but choir concert is tomorrow so that will clear some headspace for fun.

Today is the Eastgate Primary School Christmas concert. Miss Jennings conducts the recorder group.

Playing in the recorder group this year are Fergus, Ruby, Yumiko, Hanne and Christos.

Mr Giles leads the Ukulele group on his guitar. Playing ukulele today are Per, Esmaiel, Zinnia, Sunil, Sabine and Olivia.

Zinnia plays a little solo, accompanied by Mr Giles.

Next, Alys and Mats play a trumpet duet, accompanied by Isla on keyboard.

The school choir is conducted by Miss Jennings and accompanied by Mr Giles.

Miss Jennings is very proud of the choir!

The boys singing in the choir are Franz, Esmaiel, Danilo, Rohin, Theo, Sanjeev, Rowan and Isaiah.

The girls are Zinnia, Voula, Isabel, Yumiko, Mia, Tanaz, Ruby and Isla.

The school has a thriving percussion ensemble.
