Talk me into watching “Slow Horses”

Just that really…

I don’t like spy based fiction, or anything where the producer tries to inject too much clever humour into the script I also don’t like any kind of odyssey or unreal plots or characters. I love dark, gritty plots with real life complex characters and social demographics.

But everyone has said “Yes but you will still LOVE slow horses” 😅

Will I and should I give it a go or should I stick to my guns and demand avoidance!!

It’s awesome because it’s high quality but the characters aren’t unrelentingly awful, they are more like real human beings with flaws and positives and they change over time. Someone mentioned succession and I managed one episode of that because I can’t be arsed watching awful people being terrible to each other, I don’t find it entertaining. It also has plots that resolve in a satisfying fashion which seems a rarity in tv shows. And at most a season is around 6 hours so it’s hardly a massive commitment to watch a bit and see if you like it.

How is it complicated? Just switch it on and have a look. You aren't committed to watching every episode.
