I’m early 40s and had a hysterectomy after a traumatic birth late last year. Hormones all over the place and sub-zero interest in sex since. Given my age and everything that happened I thought that part of me was quietly retiring.

But the other night we were driving home in the dark, DP at the wheel, sleeves pushed up so I could see his forearms, fresh haircut, calm focus, motorway lights flickering across his face… and suddenly BAM! Libido resurrected. Something about those exposed forearms, or his calm focus. I don’t know, but it did something!

If we hadn’t been on the road, I’d have climbed across the gearstick there and then 😅

Been a horny mess since. I’ve also taken to conspicuously peeking when he does press ups, never been so envious of a floor before 🥵

I’m sure it’ll pass soon, but in the meantime I’m enjoying the feeling while it lasts.

Well, DP has his own stuff going on around this topic and I’m trying to be as considerate to him as he’s been to me these past few months. Just because I’m suddenly ready doesn’t mean he is.

For me it was slightly different, in that I was separated and mentioned my ex-husband by name. You understand that human beings aren’t always just available to fuck on demand 24/7, don’t you? Her husband is a man, not a dildo.
