Good Morning Everyone! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. The kittens have been down for breakfast & gone back to bed. Dd1's home for the weekend, after birthday gig 12/12, in Leeds, last night, so they're in with her.

Dd2's awake & half getting dressed to head to the open day of the college she wants to apply to. We're getting the bus somewhere between 10 and 11. She knows exactly which subjects she wants to visit, so it's really just about firming her choices in her own head.

I'm not sure what dd1's plans are. She was going to nip into town with their dad for some bits she needed, but I don't think there's much on that list 🤷‍♀️.

When we get back, I should actually start on the amigurumi butterfly I wanted to make - I just can't settle on a pattern!

Tea is either Chinese or kebab - dd1's choice. She's not found a decent one of either in Wembley yet!

After that, showers, and probably an early night for me 💤

Morning @lucysmamI’m sat having my first coffee. I spent yesterday blitzing the house so I’m feeling very smug this morning!

ds2 had a football match we need to leave in 40 mins to go and watch that. We are going to watch our local team play this afternoon with some friends. I’m going to put something in the slow cooker for when we get back…. Maybe sausage casserole.
Not sure what dd2 is up to think she mentioned meeting friends in town.

We’re on holiday so currently on the veranda with a coffee. DH has been for a run and swim so he’s waiting patiently on DDs waking up. He hates sitting around. We were up until after midnight last night with friends at hotel disco/show so they’re all still sound asleep.
Pool day today and meeting one of DH colleagues/friend and family for dinner/drinks tonight. DDs 3 & 4 are asking to go to kids club with some new friends so I think they’ll do that for a bit.

Good morning @lucysmam and all. I'm having a coffee outside while it's dry but it's very grey and quite cold so I'm very happed up in a dry robe. Things have definitely turned a bit more autumnal here and I don't think winter is far behind. I'm usually quite anxious about the turn of the year as I tend to feel quite low over winter but I'm looking forward to general coziness and indoor activities more than usual. Let's see how I feel in January! Nothing concrete planned today. DH is working on the renovation so DS and I might try and get in a nice forest walk or something. A local restaurant is closing soon so we might get lunch there. I'll try to fit in some Japanese study and I'll hopefully watch the last episode of season 1 of The Apocathary Diaries. Quite fancy steak for dinner but we'll see what the boys say. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all! I’m in bed with a brew as I am still not feeling great having had cold/flu all week. I need to get some food shopping at some point but that is about all I have the energy for!

First weekend in a really long time that I have not much to do and not anywhere else to be and I’ve woken up in my own bed. Have been away with work a few weekends on the bounce and I’m embracing a lie in 😂
I woke at 5, struggled to get back to sleep but eventually did and woke again at 9.
Dh and ds are getting sorted to go to football and then this afternoon are going to watch our local team.
Dd and I may go and see either dhs mum or my mum. I think this afternoon I might take myself off to the shops, dh and I are going away soon, I’d like a few new things.

Morning all, we are in a cottage in Weardale with some friends.
3 of the men have gone to do the local park run, one couple still in bed, I'm waiting for my morning meds to have their 30mins before I can have a coffee. 5 more minutes! My hangover needs it.
No plans yet but likely a walk somewhere and we have a table in an Indian restaurant booked for later. And more wine 🍷

Dh is out, dd1 in London at her bfs house, dd2 is stirring and has a friend coming by later.
I need to return some items to next and I might have a shlep round the shops...

Coffee in bed but now up and into my leggings for weekly yoga beasting! Then will head up to West Sands for a walk on the beach with DD2..maybe a dip but we'll see!

Morning everyone. I’m the only one awake so sat with a coffee and MN, DH rarely gets to sleep on so have left him to it.

Need to fetch teen DD from a sleepover then taking her and adult DD for mani/pedi’s this afternoon as a treat before new school term begins.

DH and I having all DC, their partners and DGC over for Thai take away tonight.

I have been up for a while as usual. Have had tea x 3 and toast and jam. DH has just gotten up I think. DS is still in bed.

I need to go out to shop for a present to take to a party tonight for someone who is 75 and I don’t know very well. I do know he’s not an old 75! Am thinking a bottle of champagne and a nice bottle of red wine.

Should also go for a walk but not sure will have time as we need to make a good push on getting the garden room painting finished today. Five window frames and the door and frame to get a second coat. Then it just all needs two coats of sealant but DH can spray that on apparently.

Out to said party tonight so no dinner to worry about as they are doing food.

I’m waiting for the London train to meet up with eldest daughter and a granddaughter. Her son is off on a birthday jolly with his dad and friends…I only live just over an hour from London but daughter’s work means that she is time poor so nice to get this opportunity. We’ll probably go to South Bank and see what is going on, get some lunch, go and see another granddaughter who works in Borough Market and then home early evening.

Morning, I’m enjoying my first coffee of the day in the kitchen having just made pancakes for DS2 and toast for DS1. I’m going to throw on my dog walking clothes and take the dog out in a minute.
After that I’ll blitz the house and get DH to do some DIY jobs. Then we’ll head out for a longer dog walk all together. no set plans which is just bliss after a busy week at work.

Im feeling good after having a scan for baby number 7. Was anxious it could be triplets and then bring our family upto 9, hahahaa dont think I could manage triplets!
But we have agreed this is our final baby!

Not much planned for today apart from cleaning and organising the house. Might see if Dad finishes work early tomorrow we could go to the Old town museum which is set up like an old village in victorian time/world war 1 & 2, upto the 60s. There's shops and houses and old factories, businesses and churches you can walk through. Sometimes they even have baby calves and lamb to stroke.

Eldest boy has a football trial at some point which hopefully dad will take him to and cheer him on. Littlest girl hasn't been so well so resting today and seeing if weather good tomorrow's we can go out then.

Dinner for tonight will be pasta, lasagne and garlic bread with chips on the side.
Im suffering with no appetite and everything tastes gross, even my favourite foods, and i just feel so sick all the time, literally from morning to night!

I've been up since 3:30am because I went to bed quite early (beer induced) so I have been tidying/doing washing most of the morning.
Caught up on traitors and finishing LOD in preparation for the new one 🤞🤞
I've had a bit of a binge on Vinted in the last week and feeling guilty for it so I've chucked loads of stuff on. I've already sold a couple of bits so I'm quite pleased!

Shopping arriving in about half an hour. I am hoping to spend most of today just chilling out and cooking. DC are at their dad's this weekend so I will probably consume wine at some point...
Got to finish putting the halloween decorations up as we are having a party, which reminds me I need to clean the toilets too. (Yay!)

Lamb curry for tea i think. Might go to a gig later but FWB and I are undecided 😅

That was mesnt to say being our kids upto 9 and 11 in total including Dad and myself!

Morning, it’s lovely and sunny here today.

Our two both have a swimming lesson in about half an hour, after that we’re off for a family dog walk to a really nice cafe, it takes about two hours to get there, so we’ll be outside most of the day which I’m looking forward to

Busy day after a draining week, I can't wait to sit down tonight. I'm packing for a holiday, tidying for a viewing and then driving DD quite far for a long activity later. I really could do with a quiet day but hey ho.

Good morning @lucysmam and all, I’ve just had a shower and now having a cup of tea looking over the garden.
I am also taking my ds and his girlfriend to a college opening, he really wants to stay at his school, but figured it would be good to have a back up. Younger dd is going to a friends and I need to do some shopping. Had also thought about a walk but it’s very grey and looks like rain, it’s been grey here all week unfortunately. Later on I need to drop birthday presents off to my dad and a friend. Also need some inspiration for dinner.

DH and I in town having breakfast after dropping DS at his club. DD is at a sleepover and I’m guessing still asleep.

I want to pop round a few shops and I have a parcel to pick up. Rest of the day will be spent unpacking, washing holiday clothes, wee nap and dog walk.

Will watch strictly with DD later. Not sure about tea. Need inspiration

I’m on a very delayed avanti train trying to get to my dad’s birthday lunch. No doubt my return will be as delayed which as least makes the journey free and I’ll have had cake 🎂

husband working all day, DS is on his paper round, then he goes straight to his maths tutoring, dd will be up shortly and probably cause chaos for an hour until she goes to work for the day too .

Got up at 630am, 2 miles done with sausage doggo. Just had crumpets for breakfast, heading for my third cuppa and then onto the Saturday houseblitz. Need to make a lasagne for tea and cut the grass( fingers crossed the last time this year).
Dh and dd are at the cinema tonight to see Tron so I need to find a couple of decent films on Netflix for later.

I’ve just made confit egg yolks in the air fryer and had them on sourdough for my breakfast - I’m doomed! They were delicious and now I’ll want them every morning!

DP has taken DSS to rugby, the other three are still in bed. I’m still in my dressing gown but will head for a shower soon and then take DS1 for a blood test, he’s got an ingrowing fingernail that looks like it will need cutting out - poor thing!

DSD is meeting her friends in town for YO Sushi later which she is v excited for. DS2 is meeting his mates in the park to hang around and look cool for a while.

Dinner is Cajun, beefy, cheesy pasta which is a firm favourite so no worries there and then we’re popping over to our neighbours for a few drinks and a catch up.

I’m on my second coffee of the day, having been up since about 8. DP just stirring now so no doubt breakfast will follow soon.

We’ve both been ill with suspected Covid this week and I’ve spent the last couple of weekends on trips away, so was very pleased to wake up in my own bed this morning. Quiet recovery day for us I think, I spent a bit of time last night tidying and cleaning so there’s not too much housework to do.

We may venture into town for a late lunch if we feel up to it, and we’d also like to get out one of our more-involved board games as we’ve got the time to for once! I’m really enjoying my current book so will try to get through some more of that today too. And probably finish off with a glass of wine and some TV whilst carrying on with my knitting.
