I appreciate this clue and all others. I don’t come on the thread until I’d like a clue.
That’s exactly what I do too. In fact, I don’t really see much point coming on to the thread if you’re not wanting one, unless all you’re doing is reading how well other players have done.
When you’ve got the answer, it can be difficult to give a clue that’s sufficiently cryptic, because the answer (to you) is now obvious. Being told that a clue you’ve given trying to help someone, is too obvious, makes it much more difficult to give clues again. Surely the point of these threads is to help rather than criticise each other?
