What’s with the weather forecast?

Was looking forward to a last hurrah in the pub beer garden today after bbc weather forecast wall to wall sunshine. Not a glimpse of it! Cold and grey all day (and the app still says ☀️)

Is it just the midlands that have been promised something that didn’t deliver?

Just been for a long, warm and sunny walk. Took my fleece off and just had a T-shirt! Surrey.

Bbc weather is rubbish - arent they changing the provider again?

It's grey clouds and dull and chilly in Cambridgeshire 😔 even though the BBC weather app states 🌞 it's ☁️☁️☁️

Yup! Gloomy all day here (Essex) but the sun's just come out in the last half hour and it's lovely now. Shame we're already back from our bike ride.

We were predicted solid sunshine all weekend in North Wales, instead we have grey skies. It is making me feel better about being ill and missing a planned mountain walk however!

Although BBC weather app is showing sun out right now... The actual skies show a different picture altogether!!

Tomorrow's looks even worse!
One word - FOG.

I get exasperated with the BBC local forecast here in my area of SE England. Today was supposed to be partly sunny, but so far that big yellow disc has yet to make an appearance. Conversely, the other day we decided not to go out in the afternoon because the forecast claimed there would be heavy cloud cover. In fact it was one of the sunniest afternoons in a long while.

Ive heard a few weather forecasters on TV say it’s been particularly difficult to forecast the weather lately.

Yes, I noticed this too. Met Office had it completely wrong. No hint of the promised sunshine.

East Mids here... Woke up to fog. It's just been grey and dreary all day. I thought I might get in the garden - didn't fancy cold and damp, cooked a stew!
