A lot of abuse at the European players. Yesterday the MC on the 1st tee started a chorus of ‘fuck Rory McIlroy’. She’s stepped down but it took the PGA ages to apologise.

Doesn't bode well for a lot of players in the world cup.

I’ve got the chant slightly wrong. It seems to have been ‘fuck you Rory’. I can’t imagine that happening in any sporting event here. The crowd might start something offensive but I can’t really imagine it being sung down the microphone.
