It's absolutely wonderful that the Israeli hostages are finally free and (hopefully) Palestine will now be able to feed it's people in Gaza and bring aid to help them rebuild their homes and livelihoods but honestly the number of people inserting themselves into Trump's arse at the moment is 🤢

I had to turn it off. I pictured that chamber piled high with the dead bodies of women and children, starved, bloodied and blown apart while everyone congratulates the killers.

I find this weirdly interesting- he has actually got awareness of what might close the pearly gates on people - it’s quite an honest and self reflective thing to say, though it’s an off the cuff thing I have been known to say in different wording too - surprising in any form from DT, but also highly unusual to the press.
And how does that fit with God saving him from that bullet?

I've had a very strange day. Left my radio on in kitchen and decamped to sitting room for rest of day. Popped into kitchen occasionally for cups of tea and I swear Bigly was mumbling away every time. That's over a period of about 8 hours. Has he shut up yet?

There’s no way that guy ever negotiated a peace deal. I doubt he could tell what day it was. I assume all the negotiating was done by other people.

I imagine if it wobbles too much, he’ll remember it was actually Biden’s 2024 peace plan.

As much as I’d like it work there seems to have been a lot of excitement over a plan that is relying on two sides that both have a history of not keeping their words, keeping their word.
I’d love to come back in 12 months and say it has worked but I just can’t see it happening.

Agree it's so precarious

A cynic might suggest that both sides quietly decided (and I leave it to the dear reader to speculate as to whether it was independent or after some collaboration) that the best way to get rid of the appalling POTUS messing up their plans would be to pretend to be friends until he's left the scene (by whatever means the future holds in store).
