I literally cannot get over how anyone let this happen!! That poor bloke doesn't stand a chance.

I think that’s quite funny. Looks like an in joke.

Littletreefrog · 16/09/2025 17:30

I would imagine it's a joke.

TeaForTheTillermanSteakForTheSun · 16/09/2025 17:30

It looks like a joke.

The couple has clearly got a sense of humour.

CoralPombear · 16/09/2025 17:30

That’s quite funny! So long as he also thinks so….

Or maybe he didn’t help with any of the planning so shes taking credit where it’s due. Grin

manicpixieschemegirl · 16/09/2025 17:30

God forbid a woman makes a joke.

WhenIAmKing · 16/09/2025 17:30

I’ve seen that done before - it’s definitely a joke.

Kinneddar · 16/09/2025 17:32

Most bridezilla? Not even close

Looks like a couple with a sense of humour

PolkaDotPorridge · 16/09/2025 17:34

It’s a joke, my friend did it at hers. It’s so obviously a joke 🤣

DaisyBeatrice · 16/09/2025 17:34

I love the irony.

She is admitting to being a 'Bridezilla'!

PrincessHoneysuckle · 16/09/2025 17:35

It's a joke.Seen a few online like "janes wedding with special guest Dave"

SpongeKnobNoPants · 16/09/2025 17:35

Very funny actually. I like it. They're a couple who like to laugh and take the piss out of each other.

Berlinlover · 16/09/2025 17:36

Well it wouldn’t be my kind of humour. Can anyone honestly say they’d be happy if their son or brother married a woman like that?

SpongeKnobNoPants · 16/09/2025 17:36

Are you British OP?

I would absolutely love it if my brother or son married a woman with a sense of humour like this, as its very much on par with mine and my DHs sense of humour. We'd all get on well.

What, with a soh, you mean 😂

BigJanette · 16/09/2025 17:39

That's my type of humour I'm afraid!

SeptemberNCing · 16/09/2025 17:39

It’s a joke that many other couples have done at their wedding. Hardly the sign of a bridezilla 🙄

Uricon2 · 16/09/2025 17:39

A joke and it's really funny, sort of anti bridezilla because she is sending herself up.

CarpetKnees · 16/09/2025 17:40

Not 'bridezilla' at all.

It's a fairly common joke that suits some people's sense of humour - presumably including the couple getting married each time it is used, or they wouldn't have used it.

SpongeKnobNoPants · 16/09/2025 17:36

Yes I'm British. I might be in the minority here, but I thought it was really weird. Why would you make the wedding day of 2 people all about 1 person? Even if it's a joke , its pretty poor taste IMO.

Well Rebecca sounds like a pain in the arse to me.

It made me laugh. To be fair it is quite often the bride who goes overboard with planning while the groom fits in. That sign is just a bit of fun.

SpongeKnobNoPants · 16/09/2025 17:50

A bridezilla
A pain in the arse
Making it all about 1 person

🙄

Over reactions to a little bit of fun. That's literally all it is. A bit of humour to give the guests a giggle. Because weddings don't need to be so stuffy all the time. Sometimes, they can be really fun and include humour.

Agree.

What about the other way around? RICHARD'S WEDDING!!! Featuring Adele. And if you'd be that Adele and it's your wedding. Also funny? If not, why not?
