Yes. I have nothing but contempt for this pair and their behaviour in court is showing they really haven't learned anything. They're just in it together, against their own children.

Feel so bad for poor Victoria. She could have had a good life if they'd just not been so arrogant and entitled and surrendered her to care. Awful case.

Agreed. I hope they do not get off lightly with this, they have their baby’s death on their conscience and it was all so avoidable. The fact that the 4 previous children were removed tells us everything we need to know.

The BBC Sounds Podcast "In Court" on this pair was very good. The judge is absolutely going to town on this arrogant
pair who claimed that they just wanted to live an alternative lifestyle, free from the interference from the authorities. Gordon is a controlling monster and Marten put her wants and weird obsession with Gordon above the needs of her children.

The judge is not pulling his punches...

Need more judges like this man. Hoping the book is thrown at them AND they are both made sterile just in case.

He is another story and is extremely high risk though as a dangerous and manipulative offender.

I can't imagine that she'll behave inside, so the 2/3 may not apply. They've already spent over 2 years on remand already, so that would need deducting.

Agree that her being detained until after her reproductive years are done is a very good thing.

She could be out at 45 ish, so not impossible. Improbable though.
