I have to watch every single rug cleaning video that appears on my timeline. I can't help it.

I just can't turn it off or keep scrolling. I find them so satisfying. The rugs are filthy (and how do they get so filthy?) and after lots of high powered jet washing and cleaning foam, they're back to how they should be.

If they're on my steam, I have to watch right until the end before I can move on.

What type of clip is your crack?

Ikea hack videos, they're often hilariously bad.
People knitting and crocheting, I do both but watching people with way better skills than me is fascinating.
Anything to do with books.

Cute babies. Animals being silly, especially pandas falling about like they're drunk.
I also love the rug cleaning ones. I wonder if the rugs are covered in mud on purpose and left to dry before they clean them. And those massive scrubbing machines must destroy the rug. But I know that's not the point of the video 😂

There’s an Asian woman and her Mum who makes elaborate meals for their German Shepherd dog and then film him eating them. I’ve watched all of them repeatedly.
Also carpet cleaning, dog grooming and cats being crazy. They are indeed like crack.

In the same spirit: painting restoration videos, where they clean the old varnish off and restore the painting underneath. It's so satisfying to see the final results and the difference in the colours is unbelievable!

I can't stop watching improv dance videos like West coast swing etc.

I can't dance, have never had inclination to learn, don't even watch Strictly, but these videos are my guilty pleasure.

Ear wax removal videos. Impossible not to wait for the pay off and 'aaahhh' moment when the main chunk of wax is dislodged and pulled out. Watching it is like having a non-sexual orgasm, if that makes sense.

Pulling all the dead leaves off a cactus (but I have to turn the sound off because that rustly paper sound goes right through me!)

Spot popping, ear wax removal, splinter removal, tartar removal.

Also Asian women eating vast amounts of food, usually meat of some kind - I'm trying to watch what I eat and am living vicariously through these.

Drain unblocking, along with pressure washing, car detailing.

My husband is horrified by my viewing habits.

@fungibletoken yes!!!! Car detailing, this Dutch (I think) lady, they do an amazing job, high end cars, and I understand expanding the business to other countries. I can't help myself watching.

Have I missed out because I didn't realise these things existed - apart from a rug cleaning video my daughter send me that went on and on and on looking like a great big mess.

Maybe I don't have enough spare time on my hands 😄
