Your skin is beautiful. I love the shape of your nails and although I am not a nail art person (I think I’m just not the typical demographic for nail art) I think it’s been beautifully done. My dd occasionally does get an ombré or some subtle design so I appreciate good vs rubbish!
I admit to Succumbing around Christmas where I might get a subtle snowflake but usually I’m a short and natural shape with either natural colour or a dark red

do you like real long nails or do you just not like long nails at all?

Don’t like the design but I have a bland taste, you have lovely young looking hands though

I have them about a mm beyond my finger and a squoval shape. I paint them myself.

I really dislike anything long and pointy or coffin-y, I just think it’s so naff. Also any sort of gel or nail art.

The tip needs to be much wider to mimic what an actual nail looks like but I love a frenchie

I can’t put my finger on what is weird about these, but they look a bit wrong.

And, not to be snarky, but I don’t get why people pay money for fake gels or whatever, and there’s always a big gap near the cuticle. Why can’t they do the entire nail?

Per my message above the tip looks silly as a normal nail has a lighter tip from the end of the finger not the end of nail.

They do the full nail but then the nails grow out as , well , nails grow - then every few weeks they are infilled or removed and replaced.

Yeah, they’re cool! I go for reds, oranges, and pinks, personally.

I thought they were quite nice - but I’ll bear the comments in mind when I have them redone in a couple of weeks.

I'm not a big fan of long or painted nails the always give me the heebie-jeebies but I am obviously in the minority. If they make you feel good OP then enjoy it!

I like your nails op. I do my own so can’t manage nail art! I’ve got very little time so use semi cured gel stickers so I don’t have to paint them or wait for drying.

I'm really enjoying seeing all your lovely nails, I cannot join in, as I chop mine off with toenail clippers. Mine are only there to stop my fingers from fraying, but I really admire all of you who make an effort, they are stunning.

Short red gels for me this week.. Don’t usually have bright nails but the summery baby pink felt a little boring.

That’s just where the natural nail is growing so the gel moves down with it…
