Inspired by sitting here this morning when Beechgrove Garden came on. Such a warm, gentle programme and I get that feeling as soon as the theme music starts up. Sounds like a lovely Scottish reel. Really heartwarming.
(Just looked it up and it is called Miss Tara MacAdam.)

Strictly - I don’t even watch it but the theme reminds me of cosy evenings in!

Not a TV theme tune, but the Pearl and Dean cinema adverts music.

Supernatural, the wire and buffy

The repeats of Miss Marple that are on BBC4 at the moment. Just takes me back to a cosy place.

Buffy, X/Files and Twin Peaks always give me a lovely nostalgic feeling for when I was actually excited to sit down and watch the TV.

i also love the e themes to Detectorists, Last of the Summer Wine and You’re the Worst.

For me, it’s Only Connect. Oh it’s cosy quizzy Mondays. Also even though I can not ski (even though I’ve had lessons), the ski Sunday theme tune is very joyful.

The theme tune to Howard's Way. I think it came on at my bedtime in the late 80s, when I was at primary school. Just listened to it again, it really is a great piece of music!

And not so much a theme tune, but a song very much associated with TV - Bring Me Sunshine. Reminds me so much of my lovely grandfather.
