TV theme tunes that make you happy

Inspired by sitting here this morning when Beechgrove Garden came on. Such a warm, gentle programme and I get that feeling as soon as the theme music starts up. Sounds like a lovely Scottish reel. Really heartwarming.
(Just looked it up and it is called Miss Tara MacAdam.)

I used to love this tune. It really set the scene for the programme with its lovely gentle golden vibe.

But now I have to run out of the room with my fingers in my ears if I am accidentally around when it is on TV -- because it is SUCH a flipping earworm. I know that if I let it into my head it will be on repeat play there for a week.

As a sixties child, these are mine:

I love the Detectorists theme tune, too.
And the Brunnen G fight song that was the theme tune to Lexx in series 3 and 4.

Also like the Farscape theme and Slow Horses theme, composed and sung by Mick Jagger.

Oh my goodness, these gave me (good) chills. Especially the Tales of The Riverbank one, which took me straight back to lunchtimes with my dear mum. I am also a 60s child.

My sister and I used to sing this in the car.
My favourite is the BBC 'All Creatures Great and Small' from the 1970s. Lovely memories of wonderful family viewing. Think I'll have it at my funeral.

And 'Sutherland's Law'. I think it's actually 'Land of Mountain and Flood' by Hamish McClunn.

Jonathan Creek for me, I love the show and the theme reminds me of watching it with my sister whilst we desperately tried to work out how it was done before Jonathan does the grand reveal.

Takes me right back to my childhood. We watched it after school then had swimming lessons.

Jamie and the magic torch.

I don't remember watching the programme. But I really like the theme to Rupert the Bear.

Call The Midwife. Think it makes me nostalgic for cosy Sunday evenings.

Songs Of Praise. Reminds me of being a child and we would have Sunday tea of cucumber sandwiches and cake!

Grange Hill. Reminds me of coming home from school, ditto Byker Grove.

Sammy Davis jnr done a vocal version of the theme tune..you can count on me.

Another one that I love is the theme tune to ITV’s coverage of the Tour De France - it signals three weeks of watching very fit young men in Lycra cycling round some of the most beautiful bits of France. Sadly ITV has lost the rights to cover the TdF, so this year may be the last time I hear it. 😪

@Marlaysydney12 I came on to say Howard’s’ Way! I loved it so much I even bought the single…The end credits’ tune which is different and more pop is great too.
