Vinted and Inpost- what’s going on?

Yesterday and today I’ve sent several items via Inpost locker, none of them have updated on Vinted and only a couple have generated an email from Inpost telling me that the parcel is lockered-up.
anybody else having same issue?
Has someone tripped and pulled the plug out?

Yes me! I’ve had 2 things sent via InPost and both are still saying that I need to post them. Despite the InPost app saying they’re on there way to the buyer

Yeah a couple of mine say they’re sending on the app too but not them all. It doesn’t fill me with confidence when you’re leaving parcels in there with no label. I hope their system can still tell which parcel is which 😳

I’ve got this with one parcel too. It’s usually really reliable. No idea what’s going on 🤷‍♀️

I've bought 3 things. 1 seller msged to say she'd sent but the app hadn't updated. Nothing on the other 2.

Same! I was panicking because i thought i’d generated the wrong label because vinted emailed me telling me i had not posted it!

Yes me too. One parcel has updated on Vinted to say I put it in a locker two days ago but the other parcel that I put in a locker at the same time is still showing as “label sent to sender”. My buyer says it’s fine her end and she can see it’s on the way. It’s a situation ripe for exploitation by the unscrupulous so I hope it’s sorted soon.

Me too! I sent one yesterday and it is still showing as 'label sent to sender.' I contacted vinted this morning and they have suspended the transaction for now. I have messaged the buyer to let them know what is going on. I can see in the inpost app that it's on the way, so apparently I have to let the buyer know when it arrives and they can then collect it. I'll need to send a screenshot to vinted to show it has been collected so they can complete the sale manually.

No idea if it'll work - I'm stressing as I really don't want an incomplete sale on my record. I've turned off inpost as an option for now which is a shame as I usually much prefer it.

Interesting that Vinted advised that. I was going down the “do nothing and hope for the best” route but maybe I should do the same. Thanks

I was too initially but they said that if it doesn't 'right itself' after 24 hours it is unlikely to. This is what the reply from vinted said:

'since the item is shipped, but the tracking got stuck, I have now suspended the transaction. This way, it will not get automatically cancelled.

Please keep an eye on the tracking in the carriers webpage - it should update within a couple of days.

Once the buyer gets the item, please reply to this message with a screenshot of the message when they confirm they have received the item and are happy with it. I will then be able to update the transaction.'

A total pain for me and the buyer - I'm more worried about my rating than the money to be honest as this is a low value item, but can see that it would be really annoying if you have sent something higher value. I'm leaving inpost turned off as an option for now.

What will happen if the buyer doesn't get in touch to confirm they have had it. Vibted said they won't accept tracking as confirmation needs to be a message from the buyer. It's so annoying I have quite a lot in pending from the past week :(

Looking on Twitter it seems you can track it via their website rather than using Vinted. I bought something yesterday and I can track it this way successfully.

This is true but it still won't update on vinted so funds won't be released unless the buyer plays ball and sends a message stating they have received it. Vinted won't accept tracking as confirmation needs to be from the buyer

I’ve had the same issue! I sent a parcel through InPost yesterday, I got a confirmation email straight away. Yet it has not updated on vinted and is still asking me to post the parcel. I know the parcel will be sent to the buyer, an expensive parcel too, but I’m worried I won’t be released the funds! I have tried to get through to Vinted and InPost, both aren’t really doing anything. InPost just said “ we are merging new systems contact Vinted. So not helpful at all.

Hi, I’ve just posted 6 parcels and none of them are showing as posted on Vinted. All fine on the InPost App though. How long was it until it updated? I’m worrying I’ve just posted loads of items that will now go missing ☹️

Well my parcel that Vinted insisted I hadn’t posted has now turned up at the destination according to InPost tracking but the poor buyer has been to try and collect it four times and it isn’t there. Meanwhile I’ve received notification to pick up a Yodel parcel I picked up 10 days ago.

It’s still a bit broken I think. I sent by RM and Evri today and they both updated instantly. I’m leaving Inpost off for now (although it’s fairly meaningless because Vinted lets buyers bypass it anyway 🙄)
