Vinted and Inpost- what’s going on?

Yesterday and today I’ve sent several items via Inpost locker, none of them have updated on Vinted and only a couple have generated an email from Inpost telling me that the parcel is lockered-up.
anybody else having same issue?
Has someone tripped and pulled the plug out?

Is it working yet?

Is the Inpost Vinted tracking issue resolved? Anyone tried recently?

HorrorPudding · 19/09/2025 11:00

Well, the Vinted parcel I mention upthread never arrived at the destination though they insisted it did and is still showing as on its way back to me. Vinted won’t let me start trying to get my money back until the end of next week. I’ve had a couple of other problems with Inpost which got solved and quite a few weird tracking messages for old transactions that are complete, as if they are updating the system. I think it’s this business of integrating with Yodel. I’ve made the decision not to use them for a bit and see if things improve.

(Touch wood) All has been working fine for me since it was rectified back in August.

I'm waiting for 2 packages I bought off 2 different sellers. Both have been "in transit" for 5 days now without an update on Vinted or Inpost. I'm hoping they turn up this week, cos one of them was £60+ and I don't want to be waiting a month for Vinted to "look into it".

WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa · 20/09/2025 17:03

I currently have five parcels all from different sellers stuck in the system.

All have been sent, but all have reached different stages of tracking updates and none have been updated since 17/09.

I’ve requested inpost investigate this morning, but imagine I’m not the only one.

Are people still having issues this week/month? I've sent 2 parcels -went from delivered to back with Sender. I haven't had them but neither have buyers. Obviously I'll wait a while but they seem lost in the system. Had 2 lost a month or 2 ago as well.

What have you found reliable if you aren't using Inpost? Does royal mail cost the buyer more? Thanks.

HorrorPudding · 10/11/2025 10:47

I’ve had weird notifications on Inpost for old Vinted sales and purchases (as if they are updating their system or something). Out of about 20 sales and purchases I’ve had two lost items in the last two weeks. I’m going to suspend my selling activity on Vinted at the end of this week as I can see Christmas post is going to have a negative effect. Royal Mail does cost more but as I buyer an extra £1 or so wouldn’t put me off if I want the item whereas Inpost as the only option does make me think twice. I’d say RM is more reliable.

Also note that today all the sizings of garments are messed up, for example it’s showing a Zara dress size Large I’m selling as fitting a size 20-22. It might be a glitch but it could lead to some mistaken purchasing and more hassle with returns!

GiveMeWordGames · 10/11/2025 11:37

I used Inpost for Vinted for the first time last week and it was fine. Parcel actually arrived in locker super fast and earlier than expected.I've got another item which is on its way. No shortage of tracking or notifications.

The sizing mess that has just happened has its own thread and is a separate thing caused by Vinted itself.
