Five. I'm not scared of them and don't flap, I'm just unlucky.

I knocked into a bee on my climbing frame as a child and it stung my leg.

A wasp got my finger as a child.

I'm my teens I ran down the stairs barefoot first thing in the morning to answer the phone, felt something stab the sole of my foot, jumped, and felt another stab. I'd landed on a wasp twice.

And more recently I accidentally kicked a bee on the kitchen floor and it stung the end of my big toe.

Lots of wasp stings and one bee sting about 20 years ago....I didn't do anything to it, it just flew at me and stung me on the side of my chin.

About 4 times by wasps but never by a bee. They bloody hurt!

Mosquitoes love me too, I have about 10 bites today. 😫

I’m nearly 50.
bee 0
wasp x 3
hornet x 1

wasp stings hurt. If you soak a cloth in vinegar and hold it against the sting it does help a bit (though it smells). It helps if you soak a scrap of old T-shirt and wrap it around some ice.

Hornet was the worst - on my boob. I had nerve pain from it for about six weeks. It was in Italy and the lifeguard put some gel on it straight away (to be fair I was a bit hysterical) and whatever it was seemed to keep the swelling down, and he brought me ice and told me to keep it iced for as long as possible. He said a lot of people had been having bad reactions (with breathing problems) but thankfully not me - other than it being bloody painful! Not my finest hour.
