25c in my corner of Scotland

32 where I am in Wiltshire at the moment. Bit of a breeze though so it’s manageable. I’m crocheting pumpkins in the garden and dreaming of autumn, but also don’t mind this too much. Until I have to move, that is. Such as in a hour or so when I need to go to the allotment to water the real pumpkins. Then I’ll mind it.

Far too hot in West Sussex- 32 was the top temp earlier. I start melting at about 28!

All the headlines I read last week said a heatwave was coming but not for Scotland. It's 26 degrees here now and to be warm and sunny as far into the future as my met office app will go and I feel like I've won the lottery as I'm off work.

Yes, to all you Leeds/Yorkshire lot, its hot now but the forecasts of heat/heatwaves/3 days of hot weather didn't materialise until this afternoon so I was a bit 🤨 about it all!

DS1 lives near London and installed aircon when renovating their house. As dyed-in-the-wool Northerners, DH and I were very sceptical about this new fancy pants Southern purchase.
They have had 2 more babies since acquiring it and say it has been really useful and we have recently had to grudgingly admire it on recent visits

Sorry but I just can't get my head around people getting excited about the prospect of 34 degrees. It's been 32 today where I am, and it has made me feel ill. 22/23 degrees is fine for me!
