Is your wedding ring engraved ? If so what does it say?

Mine isn’t engraved but Dh’s is. It says
‘Put it back on’ which he thinks is hilarious 🤣

Mine isn’t, and dh has never had one. I think he thought at the time that they were ‘uncool’ (but we’ve been married for a very, very long time anyway….

I love that you didn’t force him to have one. We’ve been married 10 years and it still makes him laugh when he takes it off to polish it up a bit 🤣🥰 the jewellers were a bit confused but didn’t try and talk me out of it which I’m glad!!

Both mine DH rings are with the same. Our first initials, plus that of our DS who was at our wedding, and the date. We had DS2's initials added when he came along.

Mine isn’t. Mr Scarlet never wears jewellery/watches, so he’s never had a wedding ring.

ExH had the wedding date engraved so he wouldn’t forget the date. Ironic really as he seemed to not only forget the date but also that he was married full stop when he had an affair 🤦🏻‍♀️

It has the date of our wedding engraved in the inside, just in simple format, e.g. 24.07.2025

Our names and the date, I felt the need to personalise it as found it when weeding in a garden.

I was going to get the date engraved, but seeing as we had to bring the date forwards I am glad I didn't as our wedding date actually ended up being the date DH passed. I did get the 2 almost romantic things DH often said to me engraved on the inside. Written as they are inside the ring, they look nonsense to anyone but me & him. 💔

It says “Tungsten Carbide”

Mine said 925 for a while, and then DH (now deceased) pulled his finger out and bought me a proper ring on our 3rd anniversary. He cooked canelloni and passion fruit soufflé both completely from scratch and ‘proposed’ to me again. Feels like a lifetime ago!

We have engraved dots for each of our children. We wanted something simple and we have 5 DC so no room for all of their names!

Mine says Grá Dilseacht Cairdeas which is Gaelic for love, loyalty and friendship

Mine is my great grandmother's. It has her 3 initials on the inner surface.
