Is your wedding ring engraved ? If so what does it say?

Mine isn’t engraved but Dh’s is. It says
‘Put it back on’ which he thinks is hilarious 🤣

Put it back on, that's hilarious OP! The sort of thing I wish I had thought of as my DH would love it too!

We both have Love Always and the date. I originally arranged for just his to be engraved as a surprise but I'm the run up to the wedding he mentioned getting them both engraved so I had to tell him, and we decided to have them matching. If anyone asks him how long we've been married he frantically takes off his ring to look at the year, but he always remembers the date ❤️ His ring doesn't fit him any more so he has some random titanium ring, while it is lovely, it's not his wedding ring.

We Had to have Dhs ring resized because he had put on some weight in the 10 yrs we’ve been married so we had to have it cut off and then resized. It cost us £180 to make it bigger and he re inscribed it for free so if you’ve put off getting his ring resized it was so much cheaper than we anticipated!

It's been resized once already. It came flying off his finger when we were on holiday on a sandy path in France, not too long after we got married! Luckily he noticed instantly and we found it. I marched him to the jewellers when we got home.... I don't want to mess with it again in case it needs resized a third time! His new ring is really nice though.

Husband did remove his for about a year, during a very difficult time. I am glad it didn't have anything like 'put it back on' inside it. Asking him if he was ready to recommit to us and put it back on was already hard enough.

Ours have the Chinese characters for Double Happiness inside them. They appear all over wedding invitations and favours in Hong Kong, where we lived when we got engaged. Obviously it was an HK jeweller who did them, we would not have risked a UK one writing “sweet and sour pork” by mistake!

Fair enough. It’s an inside joke we’ve had for the 15 years we’ve been together. It’s not about his ring it was actually to do with a bracelet he got me for our first anniversary together and I kept forgetting to wear it so when he saw me without it he said ‘oh for goodness sake go and get it and put it back on’ it’s gentle ribbing and he loves it but I see where you’re coming from

Ours have put initials and the date... of our wedding which was cancelled due to COVID. Our actual wedding ended up being a year later on a totally different day! Maybe we'll change them at some point.

Both mine and DH is engraved with the coordinates of where we got engaged
