I did this the other day and headed upstairs feeling very despondent but then found my 13 year old son putting it on for me. I think it’s the most I’ve ever loved him!

Next it'll be the realisation that the washing machine is still loaded with forgotten wet washing 😩

Oh it's the absolute worst when you walk in to the room and see the fucking bed sat there all naked and shit

I'll let you off with it this time so.

How did you train him to (1) see a job that needs doing and (b) do the job that needs doing?

Is he available to train my DH?

Is he broken? Mine would never malfunction like this.

I got myself into a right tangle when I washed my duvet cover then tried to put it back on. Nearly wept tears of frustration. Half an hour it took, half an hour.

I’ve been known to sleep on the antes with uncovered duvet for a few days!! That’s would be my solution.

I just put a pillowcase on sometimes and leave the rest.

I have discovered flashing duvet syndrome this way though. When you move the naked duvet in the night it emits the brightest quick flash of light. Absolutely terrified me the first time it happened.

It took me far too long to realise that you weren't suggesting putting on a pillowcase like some sort of nightie 😳 😆

The absolute worst is when you’ve had a few drinks and THEN you remember you haven’t put the covers on the bed 😩

What witchcraft is this?

Wednesday is my bedlinen day (for our bed). The kids have a different day or there would be endless white washes.

Tho I have new very brightly (or darkly) patterned bedlinen actually.

Buy a coverless duvet. It’s a game changer

I need to know about the coverless duvets. Surely it's more of a faff to wash and dry those, especially if no tumble dryer?
