Cheese or beans first…

Having jacket spuds yesterday and it always weirds me out because dd13 is the only one of us, out of 8nthat puts beans and then cheese on her potato. She states we are the weirdos despite her being the only one, so help me settle a debate, is it cheese or beans first

Beans with cheese on top. The other way round sounds totally alien to me. I've never even heard of such a way.

Onlyif your potato isn't freshly cooked or your bean aren't volcanically hot, both of which are a crime so should never be the case anyway!!

To save washing up, bake the potato, top with beans straight from the tin, then grated cheese. Microwave 2 minutes- perfectly heated through and topped with very melty cheese.

I had the same about a year ago! Wouldn't go back now.

If I'm doing one at home then I go for best of both worlds - most of the cheese on the potato, then beans, then a little extra cheese on top! (Butter on the potato first though!).

Butter, cheese, beans then coleslaw to top it off.

I don't really like cheese and beans as a combo but if I did I'd have the cheese on top of the beans... salt, pepper and butter first

Beans. And then grated cheese which has not been melted in the oven/microwave. Hate it when pubs bring you a potato with melted cheese and a little tin of beans to stick on top.

Some folk have mentioned coleslaw. Coleslaw and cheese is my favourite topping but coleslaw on top of beans sounds 🤮

Cheese then beans, no other way to do it if you like your cheese melted in to the potato, rather than just slopping about in the beans.
