I am literally on the verge of writing a letter like this. I live on an estate and a neighbour allows her children 1 school age and twins pre school age out at between 0630 and 0700 every morning from the point that the mornings are light till it stops. They scream and yell at each other and she’s out there screaming and yelling back at them. This is 7 days a week. After school they’re back out there which is fine but the screaming and yelling from the kids and mother is continuous. Every so often the dog joins and everyone screams at the dog. I’m up most mornings so it’s not too bad but on my day off and at the weekend I want to have a bit of a lie in. Occasionally she refrains from screaming and sits in the garden ignoring them meaning that they scream and yell even more. She does have a husband / partner who is equally loud and inconsiderate.

I’m a mum so I get that young kids have their moments, mine certainly did, but I also reined them in and didn’t allow their behaviour to impact others. We all live in detached houses. I appreciate that it can’t be easy but the complete lack of consideration for others is infuriating. I wouldn’t have an issue if it was now and then but it’s every day.

Whenever I see one of these, which is quite often, I think the only person who's let you down is yourself. Organise your life better and ask for the cake months ahead like everyone else manages to.
