Has anyone managed to get a Labubu recently?

If so please teach me your ways.

I know they’re stupid but DD has a birthday coming up and it’s the main thing she wants.

Is there a specific day/time they restock the website?

I saw a grown woman with two Labubus attached to her Louis Vuitton bag at our end of year assembly the other day. I thought these things were for kids? Clearly not lol.

If you live reasonably close to a Pop Mart store in the UK, just keep entering their raffle. They have a system where the chances of you winning increases with each additional time you enter. The details are published on their Instagram page and it's fairly low effort. If you do get chosen, you can pick up your Labubus without having to wait in line.

There is also a Reddit group called /labubutrade which many say is the easiest way to get authentic second hand ones. There are lots of collectors in there who are trying to get rid of duplicates. The chances of getting a fake is still there but that group is more legit than many of the random pop-up ads you see online.

Be careful, apparently there are some really good fakes and I read in the news some councils were trying to get rid of fakes because some of them didn’t pass safety testing or something.

They’re very popular so I’d be surprised if you got a real one for nearly half the price from a market stall I’m sorry to say.

It doesn't really bother us if it's genuine or not tbh, it's for a 3 year old who just liked the look of a toy😄but I will check for the safety reasons!

MaggieBsBoat · 16/07/2025 08:57

I came on here as my 13 yo dad showed me a parody video on TikTok of someone claiming to have a 24carat labubu and I hadn’t realised it was a real thing! Seems like my dd has jumped the trend straight to the pisstakes (thank goodness!). Honestly that whole queueing and beating people up over a piece of landfill tat is shocking. I now believe the talking heads saying people are getting stupider. Wow.

Glitchymn1 · 16/07/2025 13:30

We’ve found them in corner shops - no idea if real or fake. Some have the pop mart indents on the feet? They’re a tenner. Probably fake but who cares. Plastic tat - something else will come along soon 😭😆

Glitchymn1 · 16/07/2025 13:33

Little bear thing on one foot and pop mart on the other foot.

What's a labubu?

Try Google.

Bonsaibaby · 17/07/2025 05:20

Oh dd wants one. I didn’t realise they were a ‘thing’

I never even knew they were this popular. My 3 year old saw them at the weekend on a stall, during a local event. He begged for me to let him have one. I had no idea how he knew what they were tbh.. he called them Labubu, so he did know! I think he must have seen on YouTube. Anyway, we ended up getting one for £10. Looks the real deal as it has 'Pop mart' on its foot🤔

That will be fake I’m afraid

IShouldNotCoco · 17/07/2025 05:34

If you look on Vinted, you can occasionally find someone selling a genuine one for £20 which is how I got one for my dd. Some collectors get duplicates when they are trying to get a full set. No way am I paying double what they’re worth but for £20, ok. Just keep checking - a few people are not unscrupulous money grabbers.

As I said, I don't really care lol. It's for a toddler, not an older child that cares whether it's genuine. I'd much rather spend £10 on a fake than more on an overpriced genuine one!

A genuine one is generally between £17.50-£26 so not as extortionate as people claim considering people are paying much more for fakes. Whether you like a trend or not its still crappy to buy into the pirate market.

Baby26 · 18/07/2025 20:43

@AutumnFoxe I didn't have a clue what it was when my 3 year old spotted this cuddly toy that he desired. That's why I don't care if it's genuine or not. I had no idea what a Labubu was so I certainly didn't know there was genuine ones as well as fakes. So FO with saying I was crappy for buying a cuddly toy. 🙄 It isn't until looking it up AFTER buying it that I now know what a Labubu is. Thought that was quite obvious by what I've already posted. But some people are slow..

Covidwoes · 18/07/2025 22:12

They are so ugly! Apparently the fake ones are called “Lafufus”. 🤣

pushthebuttonnn · 22/07/2025 07:27

My dd8 is loving these right now. She has ds5 into them now too. Thankfully they don't realise the difference between the real and fake ones. Our corner shop has them 2 for £20 so they've got two each (so far!) I actually think they're quite cute so we may buy some more 😆

whatohwhattodo · 22/07/2025 08:22

We are on holiday in Malaysia and my daughter picked one up from a shop here - it would appear to be genuine as I googled the shop and apparently they have a collaboration with Pop Mart.

MummBRaaarrrTheEverLeaking · 28/07/2025 17:44

Is it only popmart that is the official online seller? DD has now announced she is "obsessed" and would like to buy one, ok, it's her pocket money not mine!!

This site looked fairly convincing but I'm guessing it isn't legit seeing as they have available ones yet popmart is sold out?

I got ours in Spain. Everything seems real. Can't be convinced they aren't fake but if they are, they are bloody good ones. Mostly not the current big into Energy ones but we did find some of those in one shop eventually. Lots of fakes out there in Spain as well in just clear packaging.

The best place to get genuine ones is Vinted if not from Popmart.

Definitely fake, anything that isn’t from Popmart is fake. They own the exclusive rights to Labubu.

The best way to get them is to enter the draw Friday to Sunday. Your chances increase with every draw but you have to collect them in person www.instagram.com/p/DMfkn3NiVUV/?igsh=MWdqdjlzcGt0em95ag==

You can tell if it’s genuine by scanning the QR code on the tag.

Thank you, we're on holiday between those dates unfortunately but will keep an eye out for future draws.

IShouldNotCoco · 29/07/2025 09:06

Apparently, the draws are on every Friday according to Popmart’s page on Instagram so you can enter every week.

The QR code takes me to popmart customer serviced? If it's genuine what page would it go to?
