Has anyone managed to get a Labubu recently?

If so please teach me your ways.

I know they’re stupid but DD has a birthday coming up and it’s the main thing she wants.

Is there a specific day/time they restock the website?

Wow! Thats awful! We walked past on the either side of the road and my teens both said that was what the queue was for.
Luckily these aren’t on their wish lists, we spent a lot of time in the Jelly Cat section in Selfridges instead 😜

Been there too with the jellycats, can’t believe the price of them! The Labubus seem quite reasonable in comparison even if they are hideous

Just in case anyone is watching this thread in hopes of getting one, it seems pop mart are releasing more at 10am tomorrow

We got one through Popmarts Instagram stories. They posted a link where you filled in your details then the next day they confirmed they had reserved one for you. We just have to collect from the store in the next week. The staff in store advised this was the best way to get one.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 02/07/2025 17:59

@PinkFrogss If you haven't managed to get one yet, you can currently pre-order from Pop Mart for a September 29th shipping date.

PinkFrogss · 02/07/2025 18:01

Yep managed to get one thank you! It will arrive after DDs birthday but she’ll be happy all the same.

If anyone is looking then they’re still available

I just got ones for my boys been trying for a while so thank you for this. What's the delivery time like?

Long! If you got the colourful ones from the pop mart website I think they’re shipping 29th September. From googling if you order from their tik tok lives then they’re shipped immediately. Not sure why they’ve got stock for tik tok but not their website, maybe we’ll be pleasantly surprised with an earlier delivery.

Fingers crossed!

Meanwhile in the same breath people will be moaning they are broke and about the cost of living crisis! Such a joke.

I’m not sure what that has to do with my thread, this (along with some other presents) was within my budget for DDs birthday.

They are overpriced ugly little buggers though I will admit Grin

They are so popular, I did get one on the website but no shipping until September. You can also enter a draw (follow popmart uk on IG) every weekend and you may or may not be selected to get one in your local branch of popmart, if you do get selected you have the next week to go and collect it from the shop (yes all this for a cuddly toy) they are quite hard to get on tiktok live. Some 'alternative' shops in cities seem to sell them too which could be a good bet depending on where you live.

There is at least one on eBay right now - here - if it’s the keychain one you want.

Unfortunately I think these are fake

Aw that's a shame on the senptember delivery dates

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/07/2025 20:07

Ahhh - sorry.

teksquad · 02/07/2025 23:29

wtaf is a Labubu?

MyNameIsAlexDrake · 02/07/2025 23:50

I’m in North East Scotland and our local BBC news had a report on this tonight from Aberdeen. Trading standards had been out in force in the locale raiding shops selling fake dolls. Warning people not to buy the fakes as dangerous loose pieces etc. Mental.

IShouldNotCoco · 07/07/2025 05:23

Apparently, a way to tell if a Labubu is real is that it should have a QR code label on the back which you scan and then Popmart verifies it.

Isitreallysohard · 07/07/2025 05:25

I though this was a combination of LTB and AIBU 🤣

Shmoigel · 16/07/2025 01:28

I managed to find one on Vinted via a seller with excellent reviews who was hunting for the secret.

I got myself a lafufu from Hacoo

Isitreallysohard · 16/07/2025 01:30

This new trend is absolutely insane and shows what suckers people are for marketing. And especially now with people buying them because if the demon conspiracy theory. The world has gone mad!

NewbieYou · 16/07/2025 03:36

Teach her that they’re plastic crap built for clogging up landfill in a few years because people are obsessed with trends and it’s stupid and shallow.

Baby26 · 16/07/2025 03:37

I never even knew they were this popular. My 3 year old saw them at the weekend on a stall, during a local event. He begged for me to let him have one. I had no idea how he knew what they were tbh.. he called them Labubu, so he did know! I think he must have seen on YouTube. Anyway, we ended up getting one for £10. Looks the real deal as it has 'Pop mart' on its foot🤔

So are most things people buy. But DD isn’t stupid, shallow, or obsessed with trends.

Be careful, apparently there are some really good fakes and I read in the news some councils were trying to get rid of fakes because some of them didn’t pass safety testing or something.

They’re very popular so I’d be surprised if you got a real one for nearly half the price from a market stall I’m sorry to say.
