Is this one of those stripes dress type illusions?

It looks black to me on the picture but I guess it could be a dark navy as that is sometimes hard to tell apart from black.

It looks black, but I'd want to check it against something that is definitely black.
As an aside, I bought an " obsidian " top , that tuned out to be navy blue. I thought it should have been black.

Here is it against something navy blue, and something black for comparison.

It's black. Just a more blue toned black than the other black example.

It's like my black cats - two of them are brown-black and one is blue-black. They all look just black till you see them next to each other and then you get the undertones.

It was supposed to be Navy blue.

I voted black and then changed my mind. In two photos it is navy blue, and in another it appears black. So I vote navy.

That’s the close up of the plain background colour but there’s quite a lot of this subtle blue print all over it that I think might be giving the impression of navy blue from a distance.

I've just bought some trainers which looked black on the website but when I got them they look black at certain times and navy blue at other times.

They are actually navy blue in the description.

Haha! That’s what my mum said when she held it up to the navy blue suit she had hoped to wear it with to my cousin’s wedding.
