DH says bombing the nuclear power plant is way more serious than the underground bunkers. It would be a very stupid thing to do. He sees bombing the bunkers as a noisy side show.

Also, there's a Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker circling around Mildenhall at the mo. I wonder if they're practicing their mid-air re-fueling. (It's on Flightradar24).

I bet they were practicing refuelling the tankers not jets/bombers, so they could extend their range.

Like the UK did with the bombing of Port Stanley.

I checked with Emirates, they seem to be flying normally - the planes use a flightpath over sinai to avoid Israel/Iraq/Iran.

The biggest worry of disturbing a power station is the release of radioactive dust. However the fuel rods are fairly well protected. However it's probably not a good idea to set a precedent of hitting nuclear reactors.

A much wider worry is the clear lack of any competence surrounding the chain of command of this attack. If nothing else who are Iran supposed to be talking to in the US ?

Anyone think this might be an idea for the US government ?
