Anyone notice anything about yesterday's word list?
My two original hits were 268 then faffed around a bit and got 952.
I then thought about the two of them and came up with a four letter word as a sideways punt.
I typed it in with the last letter being that of 998 which it immediately accepted as TARGET...
Not that I'm complaining BTW but I do wonder what is different between 998 with it's particular ending and the ending given as BINGO that meant when I typed in the wrong one, it was still accepted as a winner (if you see what I mean!).

When a word has different spellings in UK/US English they usually give the same score to either spelling. I think this throws up anomalies like this where they aren’t the same word at all but the subtle meaning shift isn’t the same here vs there.

Interestingly someone on Reddit has given the answer as 924
