M&S Online ordering has resumed!

Is anyone else just enormously cheered by the fact they are online again? I would have been devastated if they hadn’t been able to recover.

The items have a bag+ icon on the picture. Everything else is a heart and 'add to wish list'.

Yes it is definitely a step in the right direction for them. I really hope they're fully up and running soon.

I have been waiting patiently instead of going elsewhere but typically the one thing I want is out of stock 😫

I think the missus have because mine and my Dd2 both had things in our basket and our baskets are empty now .

I hope they'll be back in Ireland soon. I also have a couple of things in my basket that I really want.

Has anyone actually been able to buy anything? I had seven quite dull things in my bag and they are all out of stock, which seems unlikely.

There is even some stuff still not on the website full stop. There's a nice shirt in branch, not in my size. No sign of it on the website.

I suspect they're going to have an end of season sale to end all sales as they must have stock piling up in warehouses! It'll be time to get the autumn stuff in soon. If you were going on holiday and needed summer stuff you'd have gone elsewhere for sure. Or maybe they will be the only shop still actually selling shorts in August when it's hot! Which would be nice.

All out of stock. Luckily I bought a few bits of uniform in April..

No school uniform trousers in stock except the odd tiny size. I hope it's just a blip and they will add stock soon!

I'll make a point of buying from them a bit more than I used to as I would hate it if they went under.

The three items I want are in stock and in right sizes but I would have to pay for delivery because there is not yet a click and collect option. The store is about half a mile from my home and I pass it about 3 times a week I may wait a bit longer.

One of the two items in my basket was still there and I was able to add some other bits, so a successful order! The one available thing in my basket was the one I was desperate for and wasn't in any of the stores when I went looking, so I am a happy bunny. The delivery date is miles off but that's only to be expected

My delivery pass isn’t showing on app. It’s saying I don’t have a delivery pass but it doesn’t expire until November. I’ll give it a few days then try and contact customer services.

Lots had disappeared out of my basket as it was out of stock (especially children’s clothes) but I did place an order yesterday and had an email today to say that it’s with the courier. Pleasantly surprised as the estimated delivery date was 20 June.

Excellent, that's DS's undies sorted. M&S is the only shop I know that does that style in teenage sizes.

I got bras, and kid's & men's pants, so a successful order made. Let's see how it all works out for delivery 🤞

I was told in store today that if I needed to return an online order I would have to open an online return order and either have it picked up or from home or take it to an order pick up point. Previously my store was more than happy to return home delivered orders as well as in store click and collect orders.
I once had a problem where I’d returned online order via the post office and failed to receive my refund. Lady I had spoken to in local store said that it’s safer and a quicker refund if taken to a store. So M&S I hope this is a temporary solution as I will not be ordering until I can get in store refund regardless of where I purchased. Some items I have had in the past had no option for click and collect items but I could easily return to a store.

Well, M&S will now have the tightest systems they can. I would think other companies having your personal details will be a higher risk.

Yet you happily post on MN when MN previously leaked most of their users email addresses/details/passwords all over the internet and they were sold on the dark web.
