I laughed at the Mail online this morning.
They were catching up with a guy who 40 years ago fell into a Gorilla pit at London Zoo, when he was a little boy.

They went on in the article explaining about the archaic camera used, before mobiles were in use. The person taking the film was Lenny Le Lion.

First I laughed at the name involved in a zoo story, then laughed even more realizing The Mail hadn't got the spoof.
I sometimes wonder if articles are phoned in to be typed up. Imagine the caller pronouncing it with French accent and the receiver asking them " could you spell that please"?
I bet somewhere in their articles is a Chester Draws too.

I don’t really understand why people are being told to bugger off if they don’t find the joke in the OP funny. Or told they don’t have a sense of humour. The OP invited people to contribute which, to me, suggests that they understand not everyone will find it funny. Some did. Some didn’t. And that’s ok. My first comment was a bit abrasive I suppose, but it wasn’t personal. The OP wasn’t the originator of the joke. They just found it funny.

Actually what the OP asked for was if anyone else had something funny to share. So perhaps that helps you understand why people are suggesting the moaners move along.

Yes, you're right, more subtle and even funnier that the Mail failed to get the joke. It was late when I posted.
I laugh most at things that have longevity, unlike memes, where I can think of all deeper scenarios that set me off again.

This was me!! I still don’t know how it happened but everytime it pops into my head I laugh and look insane because it’s not really something you can explain to other people!
