Yes I also am compelled to watch these and similar. We call them Morality Plays.
Not only is the acting terrible but they have a very small cast to pick from. I am rather fond of the middle aged man with blond hair which sometimes looks like spaghetti. There is a woman always cast as a vile character with mesmerising lipstick.
Always a happy ending, frequently involving a racist woman being arrested.

Cairn terrier puppies, a man in the Scottish Isles who has a West Highland Terrier, dogs jumping in pools and cats being weird. Also freakishly good musicians and that guy that remixes cat sounds into songs. Oh and gardening tips 😁
