Talk to me about pans.

We are getting a new kitchen in a couple of weeks and all my pans are knackered so I want to replace them.

I don’t like stainless steel pans as no matter how much people say they are non stick, I always find they are …stick (?)
I’d rather avoid Teflon for the reason everyone says to avoid it.
They can’t be heavy as my disabled daughter wouldn’t be able to lift them (looking at you, Le Cruset you lovely but leaden beasts)
Must be dishwasher safe.

Budget isn’t limitless but I’m prepared to splash out on something good.

What should I be looking at?

I saw these ones earlier and liked them. I think the flat handle would be a struggle for my daughter’s hands though. Also, do the handles get hot?

The handles don’t get hot. I thought they would and actually bought a handle protector thing at the same time. But there’s no need.

I can’t comment on whether the shape of the handle would be awkward though. We haven’t had problems but of course we’re all different.
