What pushchair did you have years ago

My dd is pregnant and wants to have a vintage pushchair. My 1st dd was born 35 yrs ago and I had a silvercross wayfarer in grey with a mint green stripe. You could have it forward or rear facing, had a huge shopping tray, folded flat, swivel front wheels and a wedge that made it suitable for newborns. I loved it!

What pushchair did you have from years ago?

Lovely trip down memory lane 😊

I was a teen mom and was so excited (once I got over the shock) at the thought of taking my baby out in the pushchair, I would take it out when I was still pregnant and push it up and down in the front room.. 😆

Early 90's had the navy Wayfarer with carrycot and all accessories.
Remember the wedge that went in the seat for new babies.

2001 had Bebecar Raider AT with car seat, carrycot and all accessories.
It was so trendy and I loved it and got loads of complements.
It cost just over £600 which was a lot of money at that time.

My mum had a big green silver cross pram in the 80s, I actually remember being in it as a toddler, my brother in it as a baby and I was allowed to sit in the bottom end when I got tired of walking! Loads of space in there, we had toys and all sorts.
Also lovely memories of my youngest brother in it.
My mum loved it, loads of space for shopping etc.
Not practical for getting in the car or shops though - in those days babies were left outside shops!

I have fond memories of both the silver cross wayfarer and the Minie mouse maclaren umbrella stroller that my parents had in the mid 80s! My dad refused to use the wayfarer because it was too bulky so bought the maclaren for himself from one of those cards in the supermarket. He was very proud of himself!

Aww This is bringing back wonderful memories of pram pushing each of my 3
The Wayfarers were so popular every Mum seems to have used one in early 90’s as I did in ‘94
My cheap Graco was brilliant and so cheap for DS2 in ‘97
