In hospital overnight & would love a “ What’s Everyone Up To?” type thread. Always my fav during the day 🙂 Be good to have some virtual company.

@MerryPortas no he’s in the West End, with his face plastered all over the tube stations and buses at the moment 🤩 he’s worked so hard and is so so chuffed to be there! Think it’s his 4th or 5th west end, but his first leading role.

@Finallyready79 oh my goodness I’m addicted!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 it first started appearing on my feed so I watched a few clips and thought it might be that greys anatomy I’d heard about…. 5 series in after a month 🤩 unfortunately it still appears on my feed even more so now, so I’m getting glimpses of what’s ahead, which, of course I watch 🤦🏻‍♀️
Derek has found the ring and they’ve had the not proposal in the lift 💍

I'm.not doing a lot really,my dogs are moithering me to take them downstairs and feed them. I've got to stay home till the chimney sweep has been and gone (selling house and buyers want chimney swept). So will be pottering about, tidying, crocheting a birthday present for a friend, and walking the dogs.

On call would be the worst for me! I don't sleep much or well anyway, waiting to be called out would totally destroy any chance of sleep 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

I posted earlier about feeling sick after cake and thick cream. I tried another nibble (much smaller portion) and felt sick again. Think it must be too rich!

Then got a few hours sleep. Hope people got some rest in the end.

I was up the entire night. I’m having to cancel gym tonight and try to go to bed early. Big work day tomorrow and I need to do reading prep but I’m exhausted now. (I had a foster cat come last night and she ended up getting in to the eaves in my bedroom and I stayed awake)

I'm up. Having found out that we are facing mass redundancies at work I got to 2am and gave up on trying to sleep. I have very few options ahead of me, and am feeling very sad at how things have turned out for me. Pity party alert.

Breastfeeding the 6 day old. She’s amazing and the toddler has adapted so well. DH is fast asleep and I know he’ll complain how tired he is in the morning without thinking for a second about how I was up every time with the little one…

Awake- currently on holiday, we leave at 9! Got the worst cold i’ve had in years and DD is such a bloody LOUD thumb sucker!!!!!!!!!! Driving me insane

I’ve had a dreadful nights sleep. Was working til about 11pm finishing a deadline. Too wired too sleep. Then dreadful toothache set in mixed with hunger as I forgot to have dinner. Sorry to hear you’re in hospital. I hope your night was ok.

@RabbitsRock how are you this morning? I was in hospital earlier this year, barely got any sleep the entire time!!

@FutureFeelsBleak I was made redundant last year, but I knew it was coming. I was looking for a new job when something health related happened & I now can't drive or work, so the future is very uncertain, I understand your worry!

@Hihihello193 I met my newest close friend in a previous hospital visit in 2021. Obviously it's not the same as friends you've known forever. But. It's still great - you'll find someone 😊

@garlictwist i had bad toothache, kept hoping it would just go away as usual, but it didn't & was so painful we'd/thur nights I couldn't sleep, so I went to the dentist, he prescribed antibiotics & they're definitely helping! [ I got an appointment as he's private. My NHS one registered me for not attending for a period of time (during covid when I had to shield (or whatever they called it) due to medical needs 🙄)]

@postmanshere you win the award for the best reason to be as awake at silly o'clock! Congratulations on baby DD 😘. I'm glad the toddler is doing well! I think it's just as well men aren't able to breast feed as we'd really see how useless they are!! Poor tired man 🙄🙄🤣🤣

other than having a baby it's weird how many posters are reflecting various aspects of my life right now 😳
