I’ve just been on my daily walk through some fields and spotted a fox running through fields. I watched it for ages.
Beautiful creature.
Totally made my day and was lovely to just be in the moment watching nature.

Pottering in the garden and hearing the call of a buzzard - then scanning the sky to see them soaring high above my house. Had two appear last year, never saw any before that in over a decade. This year there have been four (and one day six) of them. I’m slightly obsessed by them!

Hearing the cuckoo for the first time each year. Bang on schedule this year - first heard him on 2 May.

Driving along the seafront. Have 3 beaches within 15 mins from where I live. Love it when the waves are wild and love it when it’s slat as a millpond. Occasionally I’ve done an unneeded second loop just to see it again.

Driving down the country lanes when the sky is clear blue, with a playlist of tunes that you can just belt out to your heart’s content.

My cats. Always, my cats 😻

A fox has made a den under our decking and we’ve three little cubs running around our garden. I hate the foxes as they pooh all over the place and ripped up our patio furniture but the cute little shits are quite adorable.

A nice moment today was hanging out with dh and teen dc eating nice sweet strawberries this evening.

Seeing a rainbow 🌈 or a hot air balloon 🎈

Drying a washing outside. 🌞

Seeing garden birds visiting my bird bath, bird feeders and nest boxes. The birdsong chorus is wonderful to hear. 🐦

Seeing the horses from the local stable and their riders walking on the road outside my house. The gentle paced clip clop as they pass catches my attention every time. Such beautiful animals. 🐎

My neighbours cat trotting over to greet me when he spots me. He is a friendly little fellow and all neighbours happily oblige with a pat and wee chat. 😺

A rainbow or double rainbow. 🌈🌈

A power nap. 😴

A refreshing glass of ice cold water.

Small talk and long chats.

Completing my 'to do' list. ✅️

Lovely thread OP. At the moment I find myself really appreciating the small things as I have broken my arm & have had to put some plans on hold.
Hearing the birds singing
Watching my beautiful bunnies living their best lives
The first cuppa of the day brought to me in bed by DH
Yesterday it was managing to open a packet of crisps left handed!
DD spending time downstairs instead of holed up in her room
Laughing over the daftest things with DH & DD
Looking forward to Indian leftovers for breakfast!

Absolutely wonderful replies. Thank you to all.
Seeing the fox yesterday really made me feel grateful for so many things.
I’ve loved reading all yours.
It just goes to show how it is the little things that make a big impact on our happiness and how we are feeling, and what we should feel grateful for.

Saying “good morning” to people. I usually manage 2 or 3 before I get to work. Then loads when I get there. If I go to the gym before work there’ll be loads more. It makes me feel connected, part of a community.

Everyone in the house being happy and with minimum pain or anxiety.
My garden in the sun. Which is just a terrace.
