Idiotam habemus - Trumpum the Bigly XXX - Trump thread #143

No grey smoke necessary.

First 100 days have come and gone. Vance has killed the Pope, Musk is melting away and Trump's tariffs are on a slow boat to China.

Coming soon... Bigly's Birthday Parade. What could possibly go wrong?

Tbf to him, there’s a good chance groceries, rather than the price of them are down (or soon will be) due to the tariff idiocy.

Which utter Buffon gave Aseem Malhotra a job? This is going to make arguing with anti vaxxers extremely tedious as he’s now a top cardiologist working for the US government.
GMC should have done their job and struck him off like Wakefield.

I would imagine that the GMC striking him off would have made him even more appealing to these morons. The new Surgeon General is a wellness influencer conspiracy theorist without a medical license. They despise expertise and credentials.

The clips from his trip are beyond belief.

*I might be fast approaching the point where I can only bear to see news delivered by comedians.

Did Trump use the word "genocide?"

Listening to Radio 4 yesterday PM programme - and if a Government uses the word "genocide" to describe a situation, then they are supposed to do something about it to stop genocide happening.

"It'd genocide, and I side with the Jens. They are a great people you know. The Jens love me. They say no one has done more for the Jens than Donald J Trump".

Finally he's said something about Gaza.
Still wondering whether to continue chasing the Nobel Peace Prize I expect. But what a dilemma... shiny new Trump Resorts on the Mediterranean coast or a Nobel Peace Prize for Israel/Hammas ceasefire, food and aid into Gaza and release of hostages?

An Israeli blockade of Gaza is now in its third month. On Thursday, Trump said he wanted the US to “make” the devastated territory “into a freedom zone”.
Trump’s statement recalled the plan he put forward in February for the US to take control of Gaza to reconstruct it as a luxury leisure and business hub. The scheme implied the possible permanent displacement of many or all of the territory’s 2.3 million people and triggered global outrage.

But today he said:

Donald Trump on Friday said the United States would have the situation in Gaza“taken care of”, telling reporters that people were starving in the besieged Palestinian territory.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the US president told reporters during the final leg of his Gulf tour:
We’re looking at Gaza. And we’re going to get that taken care of. A lot of people are starving.

Once the wheels of Airforce One have left the ground something else will have filled the space between his lily white ears.

I'm waiting and waiting and waiting for the massive front page stories and screaming anchors and podcasters to start tackling his obvious dementia.

As a longtime liberal, if you'd asked me five years ago if I thought Bill Kristol and I would be aligned, I'd have laughed in your face. I guess it just goes to show something about flexibility. But I highly recommend this shortish conversation about the Middle East trip, the corruption and American business leaders.

  • Warning. It won't make you laugh or cheer you up.

Is Marco Rubio still alive?

Nation run on lies and fraud is failing to spot lies and fraud. Weather to follow.

TRIP US today of the opinion that the bigly shiny plane is a distraction technique to divert attention from the Trump Clan filling their boots in the region.

They know there’s no way that, even if the deal to take the plane is done, that it will be in use before the the next election - stripping it back to get rid of the undoubted spyware, then fitting it out with all the security equipment and fitting out the residence, meeting rooms, etc will take years.

Igotjelly · 16/05/2025 11:52

I’ve noticed a tone shift even amongst staunch Israeli supporters towards what’s happening in Gaza. I would think no US president could let starvation as a weapon of war go unanswered but here we are. Then again the Israeli lobby in the US is so strong.

They've realised that flooding the news cycle means they can get away with what they want. It really won't end well - heads on spikes won't be hyperbole for once.

Serpentstooth · 16/05/2025 12:35

The phrase 'Snake Oil Salesman' originated in the USA I think? Keeping it historical, I understand Bigly Draft Dodger won WW2 and prevented us all speaking German. Like his dad, Friedrich Trump and family. Danke Donnie.

I like your optimism in thinking they’ll get rid of the spyware

I wasn't joking when I said it would cost more to secure than buying a new one.

It's interesting that even some of the MAGA crowd who are usually outwitted by felt have articulated a sense of unease at the optics of the greatest man who has ever lived taking such a symbol of American pride and power from a foreign country.

AcrossthePond55 · 16/05/2025 15:21

But but but it's all shiny and GOLD! Who cares if it costs more to retrofit than to buy a new one? IT'S GOLD!!!

Has Trump just managed to smuggle 10 tonnes of gold into the US without paying any duties on it ?

DuncinToffee · 16/05/2025 17:36

The GOP-led House Budget Committee just voted to reject Trump's big budget bill — an embarrassing setback for Republicans.

Five conservative hardliners joined all Democrats in voting against the bill.

I can’t believe he’s criticising someone’s appearance- especially skin! 😳

MsJinks · 16/05/2025 17:52

I expect the Boss is just devastated - or more likely would be bigly embarrassed if Trump flattered him. What a ridiculous post by the Orange one - still behaving like a nursery child.

RosaMoline · 16/05/2025 17:58

I know this is hardly news, but there’s something seriously wrong with him. That’s absolutely deranged. It just needs reiteration.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the President of the United States. 😳

That was my thought too. My kids and their friends were more mature at 8 than this waste of space.

It's unbelievable to me that he's the President of the United States and this is how he spends his time between collecting bribes. I picture him sitting on the toilet stewing himself into a rage over every slight. I think after all the ass kissing and flattery of the Middle East trip, he's in a state of shock that anyone could dare criticise him.
