No grey smoke necessary.

First 100 days have come and gone. Vance has killed the Pope, Musk is melting away and Trump's tariffs are on a slow boat to China.

Coming soon... Bigly's Birthday Parade. What could possibly go wrong?

The Circus in Saudi is on c4 news. Utterly sickening.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the health secretary, posted photos on Sunday of himself and his grandchildren swimming in a contaminated Washington creek where swimming is not allowed because it is used for sewer runoff.

I believe FIFA President Gianni Infantino is on the Saudi trip with Trump... not sure why... and apparently he got a standing ovation at the speech Donny gave in Riyadh.

Top human rights group challenges FIFA over Trump and 2026 World Cup.
Human Rights Watch says football’s governing body should be prepared to “reconsider” choice of U.S. as tournament co-host.

I'm currently on holiday in Crete and I saw on Flightradar that GRIM99 landed at Chania airport this morning. As far as I'm aware, it's still there.

DuncinToffee · 13/05/2025 20:27

Infantino is like Trump, easily persuaded by a bit of bling.

CaveMum · 13/05/2025 21:06

FIFA is one of the most corrupt organisations known to man. It’s no surprise they are there.

The perspective of The Washington Post, which is known to be sympathetic to Trump, to compare with eg the Guardian which is more unbiased.

Currently at Houston waiting for my connecting flight back home. Am I allowed to say Nairobi and Addis Ababa are much easier to transit? While waiting in the mahoosive queue for immigration we saw 4 people being carted away by armed guards and I can't remember the last time I queued so long either for passport control or security.

Bigly plaicematting. The biggest.

Bigly plaicematting. The biggest.

Welcome. And can I say how much I love your typo? I'm thinking it can be put to use as a fabulous insult, i.e. Steven Miller should go matt some plaice. ❤

Coincidentally, I'm watching a bit of video about the Kennedy memorial at Runnymede, Bad King John, barons and Magna Carta.I'm not expecting Bigly to visit or understand its significance or care about any of it. If he sets foot there I trust the Almighty will take the opportunity to instruct him in Biblical style with a bit of smiting.

Serpentstooth · 15/05/2025 08:39

Further to above, the memorial is on USA owned land. It's not decorated to Bigly taste, its very understated. Will there soon be plans - I'm a real estate guy - to stick a Bigly gold Trump Tower on it? Or at the least have it gilded - I'm a very artistic guy - White House style.

SerendipityJane · 15/05/2025 09:43

My late DM was a massive Broooce fan. His was some of the music we played to her as she was lost to dementia. Never my cup of tea, but as you say, "Go the Boss !😀". At least someone is looking down.

There is nowhere near enough smiting going on to suit me.

Serpentstooth · 15/05/2025 10:36

Me too. I should 🙏 more maybe.

As I said, I can see the shape of the almighty - that I have so often dismissed as a fairy story for the lazy - coming into faint view.

That Trumps some is called Barron bought the spectre that bit closer.

At this rate I'll be sniffing incense by dusk.

TokyoSushi · 15/05/2025 10:54

Oh my, he’s on to ‘if it wasn’t for us they’d all be speaking German’ about VE Day at the Qatar airbase.

I see his ‘proud to be an American’ theme tune is becoming more prominent too…

TokyoSushi · 15/05/2025 10:55

Oh and a ‘golden dome missile defence shield, more beautiful than the iron dome costing many billions of dollars made in the USA’

MsJinks · 15/05/2025 11:46

Looking forward even more to seeing The Boss in Liverpool …
Would have been the bigliest disappointment ever, if he’d turned out to be a Trump fan after decades of loving his music.

MsJinks · 15/05/2025 11:51

I’ve been sorely disappointed in the Almighty and the lack of smiting - I thought the Bible the orange one held aloft in his last term after clearing some streets for him should have burst into flames- and many ‘smites’ since I feel have been earned. I am agnostic mainly, but guess it’s a bit like when people turn for heavenly assistance in dire times - I still have hope it might happen!

SerendipityJane · 15/05/2025 12:02

God helps those who help themselves. The GOP motto since creation, 6,000 years ago.

PickAChew · 15/05/2025 12:23

I hope he doesn't mind the climate in Manchester. They probably won't let him return to the US!
