The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

I just spent five minutes looking for my sunglasses. They were where I left them. On the top of my head.

I'm hungry and want to make dinner but DD is on her way home from volleyball camp and I'll need to go pick her up from the bus in about twenty minutes so can't make it yet. I might eat some chocolate to tide me over.

I have just noticed that back garden grass needs mowing.

I have just finished a jar of marmalade, then hung out some washing, will go food shopping later and replace the marmalade.

I am going to delay having my lunch at work to make my afternoon feel shorter. Today I'm having leftover hot smoked trout bought when we were staying on an island over the weekend.

I just had a Galaxy Ripple.
I may have another one after.

I just had my 7th cup of tea of the day. Really want an 8th but I have work to do.

This isn’t boring at all but it was a lovely little moment. DH and I are in a beer garden and we found a ladybird at our table. It was running around and trying to open its wings but it wasn’t quite managing it. It would stop and open itself towards the sun like it was drying off then it would run around and try to open up again. We eventually saw it get one wing out, then the other. It sunned them a little bit and then after a little practice we saw it fly away for what we think must have been its first flight ever. 🥰

Precious poster gave me the idea to have a Galaxy Ripple

and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I dipped it very quickly into my very hot tea so it started to melt

love the Ladybird story

I see squirrels all the time and still get super excited each time. Red squirrels too, which are so much cuter than the grey ones.

I hurt my wrist at work today so thought I wouldn't be able to go in today but woke up with it feeling alright so now I'm going in.

i was late for work yesterday, and i had to pay to park,
i must not be late today as parking is expensive!
free parking is a 10 minute walk away for the office

I haven’t had time to go home between a Pilates class and going to theatre to tidy up costumes for an upcoming show (I’m wardrobe mistress). So I went to Wetherspoons for dinner and my food arrived in only 3 minutes.

There's quite a population of black squirrels which originated in Letchworth Garden City many years ago, and they have spread over quite a wide area in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire now. They really are adorable. Experts disagree on whether they are black-coated grey squirrels, or whether they are a hybrid with another type. I'd say they are more than likely a hybrid as they are smaller and have much less dense tails than the greys.

Ah I would love to see them. Maybe one day.

Yeah I guess I lose. Or at least my roof loses.

DH was supposed to go and visit a friend today, and stay overnight tonight. He's not going after all.
