The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

I went to the shop to buy seafood to make a seafood risotto but got nervous about making it correctly so I bought a tin of tuna instead and made tuna pasta for tonight's tea.

Nope. I’m pretty sure they have come from the same place. The retailer is not that big to have multiple warehouses.

Well that's just madness then!

£360 for an MOT and service from that magic money pot 🙄

Absolute madness

Someone asked me for a lighter today but I don't smoke, but I knew who did smoke so I went and got a lighter from them. Problem solved.

I posted earlier to say we didn't have any bread. We do now. DH went to the pub for a walk and bought some on the way back.

I decided to get a delivery from a local shop today just to stop up on some basics and snacks. We probably only needed about £15 worth of stuff but I added extra so I could get the free delivery for a £40 order from them. Delivery is only £2.50.

I got new socks.

Ran out of teabags and the shop is now shut. I am cross.

I chastised a starling. Not sure it heard me though.

I had so much washing up to do, it was in two parts. I have done one.

Oh that is a nightmare. I always have to make sure I'm well stocked up on tea bags so I don't run out. And now this reminds me I need to restock my supply at work as there's only 3 left.

I made a cake last night and iced it this morning to take to work to share because its someone's last week at work and apparently I'm that kind of nice person now.

i had to stop and buy milk on the way to work, i usually take a bottle from home, but forgot, made myself 5 minutes late, i left work and had to go back again to retrieve my milk, another 5 minutes!

My electricity provider offered half price electric today between 1.30 and 3.30 so I put a small load on a quick wash. I wouldn’t normally run the machine for so few items.

Also, I bought a can of squirty cream a few days ago and tonight I had some with a banana and ice cream. I had forgotten how delicious it is, but the air goes out of it very quickly after it’s been squirted.

Filled out a form for ds school and put it in his bag.
Bedtime for me now.

Just finished doing VAT for March & April.

Popping into town to buy a cash receipt book.

My OH once thought that he had discovered a genius cake decorating tip when he used squirty cream to decorate my mothers day cake. He very quickly realised why people don't use squirty cream for decorating cakes, when the air came out, it melted and slid off the cake

He was momentarily so proud of himself

I am delighted to discover caramelised onion cheese in Home Bargains having not been able to find any for a while

Everyone in our household received a new card today. DC both were due new debit cards for their bank accounts then DH and I both got credit cards (two different companies so a total coincidence that both arrived today).

I’ve just been to the post office and realised I’d forgotten the package when I got to the counter!
Then I went to Sainsbury’s for a few bits that were on offer with nectar.,, Got to self scan and realised I’ve lost my nectar card… Now I’m lying down in a dark room with a cold drink!

Really fancy a g and t whilst sitting in the sun...no bloody tonic! 😟

I have to go and attack some box moth caterpillars in a minute.
