Anyone feeling psychic who can help me find my glasses?

I woke up way too early this morning, so I went downstairs, had a drink and fed the cat before coming back upstairs for a nap.

I was reading on my phone, fell asleep and when I woke up my glasses were gone. Not on the bedside table where they live. I stripped the bed and changed the sheets. Pulled out the bed, checked all around...

I have my old spares on but they are 2 years old and not varifocals. I'm stumped and really frustrated with myself.

Any ideas where they could be?

I stole them and I won't be giving them back.

I think you left them downstairs - I take my glasses off to read my phone. If you got sleepy downstairs you may have forgotten you took them off there.

Laundry basket (if you've not washed the bedding yet)

They're in the kitchen. You went downstairs, got yourself a drink whilst not properly awake, took them off to rub your eyes and now they are blending in to the background like some kind of optical instrument chameleon.

I once found my glasses in the hood of the hoodie I was wearing. Must have knocked them off the top of my head where they were perched. Looked for the bloody things for ages.

Have you checked through all the bedding you’ve taken off? Stuck between the mattress and the headboard/footboard…?

behind the headboard or having fallen down between pillow and mattress, I'd look under the bed too

I did get sleepy downstairs, and the cat was on me and I remember waiting for her to get off my lap so I could go back to bed. So maybe I did leave them downstairs.

That's usually where mine can be found, 15mins after looking for them 😁

On the floor down behind the head of the bed or between bed and sidetable/wall. Have you moved the bed to check?

I did pull out the bed, looked between the bed and the wall, detached the headboard in case it was stuck...

I shook out all the bedding in case it was caught.

I looked on the cat...

were you wearing anything with pockets? I quite often shove my reading glasses in my dressing gown pocket when I go down to make tea.

In the fridge with the milk

I once found mine in the folded up hem of a pair of jeans. Presumably I had been walking around with them in there all day like a joey pouch!

I do have pockets but they're empty. I did check the fridge too 🤣. I feel like I've checked everywhere. I'm going to go through the bin bag from when I emptied the bedroom bin and see if they could have gone in there.

I have found 48 hair bands and 2 claw clips, though.
