Help

I’m looking for a milk frother for hot chocolate, lattes, and cappuccinos

Obviously, I want hot milk and I like it really frothy and creamy

I use skimmed milk

Been having a look and feeling very overwhelmed by the amount of milk frother available

I like the look of the following:
The hotel chocolate velvetizer
Nespresso aerocino
dualit, seem to have one that everyone likes

I’d like it to do one, maybe 2 cups of milk and be easy to clean

Overall, I’m a bit overwhelmed so any help would be greatly appreciated

The salter chocolate maker is a lot cheaper and does the same.

Teaches me old thread Grin

I find the motor does not last long on these machines and my frother stopped working yesterday. I tried putting the milk in my electric vegetable chopper and ended up with the frothiest milk ever. The nob was a bit stiff so I sat on it for 10 minutes and ended up with single cream.

Has anyone got the new velvetiser?
Seems a bit expensive to me?
Is it worth the upgrade?
My concern is it only holds 220ml of milk. I like a big mug of hot chocolate so I think the Dualit Max would be better for me it holds 540ml/580ml

I have a velvetizer and use it sometimes for hot chocolate. I've got a coffee machine for lattes. My Foster Son used the velvetizer the most and he's just taken it off to uni. I'm not sure whether to get another or not. Apparently he's been making hot chocolate for three of his female house mates so I think I've lost it too him. It works well though. He makes the Options mint in it and frothes up the milk and adds the marshmallows on top.

Is it actually worth it though? Does it actually make a better hot chocolate or could you just make the same thing yourself without the velvetiser?
