Womb transplants -is this a better alternative to aurrogacy?

I was reason about the recent birth from a woman transplant and was wondering if the dangers and complications of the surgery were absolutely necessary when many women use surrogates (often famous and out of choice). There is a awhile debate a punt surrogacy but you could argue there is a an alternative to womb transplantation that maybe couk d be used as an argument against really quite drastic surgery (including womb removal when redundant).

Will womb transplantation increase in availability of us this really just a sparse example?
