If you could, what would you name your pub?

Not an AIBU, just a little lighthearted thread. Was reading my latest book and this question popped into my head, although I'm stumped trying to conjure up a quirky name. So whilst i think of mine...

If you could name a pub, whether in real life or fictional, what would you name it?

The Canny Lass. So many named after men, time to redress the balance.

The Severed Arms

The Betty Swallocks

The Queens Legs.

The Pistol Knight

The Hobgoblin was one of my favourites. I used to walk past it singing (in my head) "Hobgoblin nor foul fiend, shall daunt my spirit".

Although if I had one I'd probably go for "Dew Drop Inn" (Do drop In) from The Family from One End Street.

The Come On Inn.

The Ale Mary.

Well of it had to be accurate it would be The hang out for aggressive drunks.

No Wankers Inn

This is my absolute fave so far 🤣

As a kid, I wanted to have a pub called ‘The Legless Centipede’ to annoy anyone playing Sign Cricket and also for the drunk / legless word play.

RN - The bollock and axe

The Cat and Custard Pot, because I am told a distant relative did in the past run a pub of that name.

The Rest and be Thankful after the road that's closed most of the winter. 😂

The Bag O’ Rats

I liked The Slaughtered Prince I think from the film Stardust.

The Swan and Paedo.

We have The Duck Inn local which I quite like.

The Jolly Radish

Mine will be The Glass and Postcard because it's how you catch spiders (you don't stamp on them,vacuum them or burn the house down )?

The Coorie Inn
It would be a cosy wee pub with an open fire and a food menu of home cooked family favourites.
